Grayson Highlands

In the highlands of south-western Virginia lives a herd of wild ponies. The ponies specifically live in Grayson Highlands State Park, thriving in the open fields below Mount Rogers. This image, taken in late November, was captured moments before the winds increased to 40+ mph and snow pelted downwards in a call for the winter to come.
